Bio Partner AG is the leading distributor for Swiss organic produce. In 2015, the company launched an online store under the label yardo.bio to better cater to the end consumer. Their vision: increasing customer traffic and sales with the support of Brain & Heart. The task included developing a content marketing strategy and a social media concept. Brain & Heart implemented a blog and a GoLive campaign and organized several workshops and coaching sessions.

ORGANIC PRODUCE – NATURAL FOOD THAT IS BETTER FOR US

Bio Partner AG is the leading distributor for Swiss organic produce. The company distributes over 150 brands and labels for organic products and cosmetics as well as eco-friendly home items. In 2015, the company launched an online store under the label yardo.bio to better cater to the end consumer. Their vision: increasing customer traffic and sales with the support of Brain & Heart. The task included developing a content marketing strategy, social media concept and guidelines, a digital marketing concept and crisis communication plan. Brain & Heart also organized several workshops and coaching sessions to ensure know-how transfer and adjustments during project roll-out.

A BIO BLOG AS A CONTENT PORTAL

After a thorough market analysis for our client, the agency recommended a one of a kind blog to generate more leads and sign new clients – a vibrant blog with product stories and catchy photographs, new cooking ideas and attractive contests. The new yardo.bio blog soon became a portal for great topics around healthy food and nutrition, regional and seasonal products, as well as sustainable production. The blog also functioned as a pool of topics for generating individual posts for selected social media channels. With the help of the Content Management System ‘WordPress’, Brain & Heart developed a blog that stood out for ease of use,

drawing traffic through great information and a contest. Within one month, Brain & Heart also created a new Facebook page with 3 quizzes for the GoLive campaign for yardo.bio. As the fan community of yardo.bio kept growing, Brain & Heart suggested the use of the social media tool Falcon.io to systematically monitor fan reactions and to shape the publishing process in an efficient way.

STRIKING SUCCESS WITH NEW BLOG

Only 14 days after its launch, the Facebook page of yardo.bio already exceeded all established organic food blogs in Switzerland

with regard to number of interactions and reach. This success is a testament to the editorial resources of our client, following coaching by the agency. To ensure continued high quality content Brain & Heart keeps working with the client as part of a service level agreement (comprehensive service package).
