Well recognised among their established client base, the company wanted to reach to the new generations of architects. The company needed to modernise and show their clients they evolved and adapted with their times. In order to achieve this, Barro requested our services for a a full rebrand, a new website and a communication strategy.

A BRAND ON PRECISION
The original request was to modernise the logo in a minimal way but we ended up accomplishing much more. The new logo, while retaining its predecessor’s identity, expresses a very modern feel from the shapes, flat colours and use of shadows. The typeface is precise, mathematical, an important asset in the industry. The final touch, the slanted shape represents a wood piece cut by an expert hand.
THE BARRO TOUCH IN ALL MATERIALS
Modernity and precision being the key values communicated in Barro’s new identity, their new stationery needed to be in line with them. The typeface, the colours, and the signature slant, all are an integral part of the company’s visual identity. Business cards provide a lasting visual impact while letterheads use the corporate identity in a sleek and subtle manner.
A WEBSITE YEARS AHEAD OF ITS COMPETITION
Barro’s new website has a disruptive design compared to its competition. Modern and responsive, the sleek but subtle animations make the content a pleasure to read and navigate on all devices. The content splits in sections for each departments which contain specific catalogues and private client zones for document sharing. The beautiful home page introduces the three core departments with the signature slant, which you can also find on the user interface. A news blog allows for regular communication to the company’s clients. The company page introduces the team members in a coherent way, sorted by departments. Finally, the contact page, displays a large interactive map to showcase the local aspect of the company.
COMMUNICATION STRATEGY ADAPTED TO RESOURCES
With a new brand and website, Barro needed to start creating content and publish it in an efficient matter to reach to existing and potential clients. With limited manpower and time, the company needed a simple solution to achieve their objectives. We conceived a lean action plan that details which content, how often and on which platforms they should publish their content. This allowed Barro’s team to allocate the right resources to apply their communication strategy.
